Speak words of life

God is still speaking.

God is not silent, he is still speaking. We must expect that he will speak into our spirits. Some people look to pastors and other believers to bring a word for them. But we already have the direct connection to hear from God ourselves. Once we have a close relationship with God then we will be able to distinguish his voice from the voice of the enemy. He said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me,”(John 10:27 KJV). Encourage yourself and speak words of life over every situation

We know more about God from what we read in the Bible.  Here we see his character and learn more about his ways. We are the children of God and we should know his voice and obey him. We follow God without questioning him because we know that he is in control and that he will only lead us to green pastures.

He has a plan

This does not mean that we will not have problems. God says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,”( Jeremiah 29:11 KJV). We can see here, that God is the one who knows. Get in the presence of God and seek him more to know more about this plan. We don’t always need to know every detail, just that his plan is good. We should allow God to revealed this information to us as we go along. When we serve God we should give him our whole heart.

God has a plan for your life, and it is a good one. Taste and see that he’s good. Know who you are in Christ and you will get to where you are supposed to be. Things will work out for you don’t give up on your God because he has never given up on you. You should have faith and confidence in the God that you serve.

This journey of life is not easy, it is never easy but it will get easier. So speak words of life and be strong. God says in this life we will have trials and tribulations but we should take heart because he has overcome the world. He has overcome the world so have we. He will make a way of escape and give you the grace to bear the trials you face.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:11 Speak words of life.

Get into his presence

We must constantly be in God’s presence and put our trust in him. We need to have a strong relationship with him so we can hear his voice. Many voices are speaking to us but the important one is the voice of the most high God. Do not listen to the voices of all the others, the ones who do not have your best interest at heart. The ones who come only to steal, kill, and destroy. They just want you to come out so they can find you and destroy what God has built up for you. Stay under the shelter of the almighty God. Stay with him he is a good protector and a loving father.

Wait on God. Listen for his direction and follow him. The Holy Spirit can be the still small voice that speaks to you when you are about to go down the wrong road. He speaks when you need a word for the situation that you are facing. Sometimes you might not hear directly from God but you will hear from the people around you. It is still God speaking and the Holy Spirit will convict you and silence all your doubts. Wait on God do not get frustrated. Believe in his timing stop listening to negativity.  Know that his timing is perfect.

“Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.”

Hosea 12:6

Have faith

Let faith be in your heart, it comes by hearing, so listen to words to lift your spirit. Keep praying, keep trusting God. Speak the things that you want to see. “My husband is coming back home.”, “My marriage is restored.” My children are blessed and highly favored.” Let the devil hear you building yourself up. Speak and build up your faith. “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks,” (Matthew 12:34).

Let it be said after this trial that you came out like fine gold and not that you failed and fell by the wayside. Be patient, wait on the Lord.“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint,”(Isaiah 40:31). Wait, you will soar on eagles’ wings, just wait. The storm will soon be over. Endure to the end. You must win this fight.

Hardship and pain should not phase you, you have the Holy Ghost to strengthen and keep you. Don’t be afraid to fight. Scars and wounds show that you have been in the fight and it did not kill you. You battled some large giants, fought your way through some tough storms. You crawled up and down some rough terrains, but you are still standing. It didn’t kill you. You are still in the fight and will be able to train and encourage new soldiers to help them be better warriors.

Hold on

Fight on, soldier your reward is sure. He has a crown of life and gold awaiting you up yonder. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Your joy is coming, your harvest is coming. Hold on. Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. You are more than a conqueror. Go on beat your chest and say it out loud ”I am more than a conqueror.”

Do not look at your circumstances and let them dictate your future. Your future is already secure. You know that you have whatever God says you have. You have peace, joy, hope, and an expected end. Look beyond the horizon. The Glory of God lies there. Encourage yourself in the Lord and always speak words of life.

Just like David and Job, you will recover all that the enemy stole from you. Not just recover but, you will be revived and your latter end greater than the former. Look ahead with confidence and let go of the past, speak words of life always.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Philippians 4:13

Stay focus

Too many distractions these days from modern technology. Yes, modern technology is good but sometimes it makes our lives too busy to allow other important things in. Search your heart. Is it time to declutter to lock yourself away from all the cares of the world and focus on God?

If you need to hear from the father, then seek him for a word. Seek Him for a word for yourself and others. When you know his word then you will be more like him and Jesus. God will give you direction for your life when you spend time in his presence.

You might be going through a situation that has you depressed or worried, feeling lost and confused. Just know that God is with you and he will never leave you nor forsake you. Reach out to him, give him your burden; and take his because his yoke is easy and his burden is light, (See Matthew 11:30).

Live a life of discipline

To succeed and go far in life, you need to be disciplined. So let your attitude and your ambitions be great and not average. You can get to the top when you are disciplined. But laziness is a hindrance to success. Wake up early and sit up late. Do not waste precious time, speak words of life. Tell yourself that’ ‘I will be successful.” And work hard to bring this goal to a reality. Too many people blame their parents or society for their failure in life. Know that whatever you become in life is up to you.

Put in the hard work and discipline and you will be successful. Don’t leave it to luck or chance. It is time to prosper and grow and get to the next level in your life. Persevere, push forward to get to where you’re going. Because it’s all up to you so, encourage yourself, tell yourself “I can make it.”. I can do this.”

Don’t put things off until tomorrow start today, there’s no time like the present. Tomorrow you might change your mind and then again tomorrow is not promised to any man.

Be committed use the resources that God has given you. You must take control of your life. Some people fail in life because they are not disciplined and they don’t have the zeal and the desire to persist.

Run the race

The race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong but for he that can endure. Ask God for endurance and perseverance. It is not wise to run the race of life without these two gifts. Some people started together with others, but get left behind. While others just refuse to take a chance and run. If you are not in the race you cannot win? Separate yourself from the rest and move on to be the best you can be.

It doesn’t matter where you are, there is still a chance to get to a better place. Because when you are disciplined you have an advantage over others. Make the committed decision to be different and to be genuine try not to copy anyone and be a counterfeit. Run your own race, do not look to the left or the right.

Be a role model

When you are disciplined people will admire you because they will see that you are different and will want to be more like you. So be a role model and make a positive impact on everyone you meet. Don’t worry about those who don’t see your discipline as a good thing. Don’t turn and be like them, the lazy ones who aren’t going anywhere. Keep focus. You have a great and glorious future ahead of you. Discipline people will lead to a disciplined nation.

Keep good company

Don’t associate yourself with those who are not for you. The people you spend time with the most will shape your destiny. Therefore, make sure the people that you’re moving with are people who will challenge you. People with great ambition and drive. Find people who are going in your direction. If you hang around people who are going in the opposite direction they tend to alter your course and you might just end up back at square one.

Be a cut above the rest. It’s good to have positive, optimistic people in your corner. Because negative people will dampen your spirits and sap your strength. Speak words of life and encourage yourself in the Lord. You need people who will build you up. People who are not wasting time, fighting unnecessary battles, and talking about everything else apart from the word of God. Don’t follow bad company.
